Gun targets have been a part of the Enumclaw community for many years. The first target was erected on the site of present-day Forest High School in 1907. From then until 1959, the school's football field served as the target range. In 1957, when Forest High School closed, a new rifle range was built on land adjacent to the old high school. The rifle range had a synthetic stock and allowed shooters to shoot multiple rounds at one target at close range. The current rifle range is located on State Route 12 about two miles east of Enumclaw Municipal Airport. It opened in 1981 and is open to all shooters except certified police officers and reserve officers with permission from their unit’s commanding officer. There are three firing lanes, each measuring 50 by 25 feet; five targets sit in an elevated position around the circumference of the ranges shooting lane; and twenty-six rifles are available for use during regular business hours (9am to 4pm). There are four shotguns available for use: twelve shotshells per lane (12 shells per shot), six shotguns per day (6 shells/hour), or twelve shotgun shells/minute (.25 caliber)

Enumclaw is a city in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 10,745 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Seattle–Tacoma metropolitan area. The first permanent settler in Enumclaw was John Constantine Greer in 1853. He and his family moved from Tacoma to Enumclaw when it was designated as a town by Territorial Governor James K. Polk in 1858. The original downtown Business Districts were built around the intersection of First Avenue and University Street; however, these districts have since been vacated for development along Airport Way north of First Avenue and east of University Street within the limits of the current city limits. As an incorporated city on December 5, 1912, Enumclaw had a population of 7 people; however, this number grew rapidly due to annexation by Seattle following World War I and then again following World War II as other areas within King County began to settle outside the City Limits (the last annexation happened in 1978). With its growing population and limited land resources, Enumclaw experienced rapid growth during both world wars which led to heavy investment into infrastructure including streetcars and parks- including nearby Lake Union Park which became one of North America's largest lakefront public spaces after being created from dredged river sediments during WWI. In recent years there has been significant redevelopment taking place adjacent to Downtown with new office buildings (such as Amazon’s Prime Air Building) mixed with housing developments such as CenturyLink Field Resort & Casino which opened in 2007 adjacent to Interstate 596/ Moses Lake Drive - only two miles away from downtown - creating what has become known as "Downtown 2". This redevelopment continues south along International Boulevard near Highway 99W until it reaches Interstate 594 just south of White River Junction where it splits forming two branches - one continuing onto Interstate 594 towards Everett while the other turns back towards Downtown before terminating at Fourth Avenue NE near KeyArena arena (an NHL hockey venue). This continued expansion pattern has resulted in increased traffic congestion on major arterial corridors throughout much of Northwest Washington but also provides valuable real estate opportunities for developers who can exploit natural features such as valleys between hillsides or underpasses that allow easy access to waterfront properties without having to build at a distance from water sources or close streetscape features.

Enumclaw is a town in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 797 at the 2010 census. The name comes from an unnamed place east of Enumclaw on the Russian River. The first permanent settler in what is now Enumclaw was David Blackman, who arrived in 1855. He named his land "East Fork of the Russian River." In 1864, George Denny came to the area and founded the town of Tacoma on land that he had homesteaded along East Fork of the Russian River. The towns were adjacent and both claimed by King County until 1889 when they were merged into one municipality under the name of Enumclaw. In 1956, Microsoft opened its first office in western Washington as part of its ever-growing Seattle–Tacoma metropolitan area
Enumclaw was a small town in Washington state, located east of Seattle. It was founded in 1892 by John Enumclaw and his family. The population was 1,500 at the time of the census.
