In recent years, there have been several important changes within the local government: firstly, Mayor Danica Roem was elected into office in 2013; then came her predecessor Lee Boyd Youngquist’s retirement; finally, incumbent Mayor Teresa Mosqueda was re-elected last November with more than 60 percent of the vote!
