In 1903 Mr., when he retired from teaching effective July 1st he consolidated all three schools into one building called "The new Normal School". This building served as both high school and elementary/middle/junior high until 1962 when it closed due to budget cuts." One reason why there wasn’t more growth around here during those years may have been because there weren’t any natural resources or opportunities for development outside of agriculture which made things difficult for entrepreneurs like myself," said Mayor Denny Whitehead about what led him to start up businesses such as Home Depot back then." From 1965 until 1978 homebuilders Jerald Peele & Associates built houses directly onto property lines making it easier then ever before…."
