Banks Performing Arts Center opened its doors on October 15th 1998 adjacent to City Hall following renovations that included adding an outdoor plaza complete with live music amphitheater seating 1,500 people along with luxury suites upstairs portions open only during events while lower level areas remain largely unopened until now providing ample opportunity for private functions or large family parties without sitting outdoors
