Cheney, Washington is a city in the U.S. state of Washington and the county seat of Cheney County. As of the 2010 census, the population was 90,856. The city is named after George H.W. Bush and his father, George W. Bush Sr., who both served as president of the United States from 1989 to 1993 and 1997 to 2001, respectively

After John's death, some of his assets were passed on to his son-in-law Harry Laughlin who continues to run them today as an independently operated business with around 150 employees

As Vice President he led the government through its response to 9/11 and played a leading role in winning the war against Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda
