This victory brought about cattle drives out into Indian Territory for white settlers which helped provide food for centralization in Spokane County during the late 19th century In early 1881, Judge J B Watkins proposed incorporation of what would become Centralia into King County after seeing an opportunity to establish agricultural land north of Spokane Falls without paying taxes on it from Woodland Township in neighboring Clark County. The incorporation took place on February 13 with a population of 25,812 people living within . As time passed and more people moved into centralizing developments such as steel works and high school (centralized education became available to all citizens), growth slowed until it stopped entirely by 1920 when World War I disrupted travel patterns across western Washington It wasn't until 1923 when construction began on what would become today's Steel Works complex across from Centralia High School - one of America's first industrial plants outside Chicago - that plant quickly started producing cars and other products for national markets Today steelworkers continue to produce goods here including aluminum cans and dog food while students attend local schools nearby Centralia also played an important role in history during World War II thanks to its proximity to Boeing Air Force Base which processed military planes arriving from Japan
