The earliest form of this lock was called the "Fenton Lock." It was used at the Camas Arsenal until 1875 when it was replaced by a modern key-lock system using fourkeys instead of two on each side. In 1907, Seattle City Councilman Charles Evans introduced a bill that would require all businesses in Seattle to install gun locks at their entrances. This law led to a rise in crime rates across America because people who had permits were able to purchase firearms without fear of being arrested or deported. Gunlocks continued to be popular among Americans until after World War II when they became less common due to stricter regulation from government entities such as police departments and private individuals alike. After World War II, many Americans began using air guns for hunting purposes rather than firearms because they were more reliable and easier to store than handguns. This change led to an increase in gun locked storage spaces around America because people now had another way to securely store their firearms if they needed them while away from home or if they didn't want them publically available).

Camas is a town in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. The population was 3,619 at the 2010 census. Camas is located on the north bank of the Wenatchee River. The first Europeans to visit Camas were fur traders who journeyed up and down the river in search of new routing and trapping opportunities. In 1821, during Puget Sound Treaty negotiations, James Kapp reported that he had discovered an Indian village on what is now Camas Prairie just south of present-day Camas. The post office was established in 1842, and by 1860 it had outgrown its small building on the banks of the Wenatchee River. A wharf was built about 400 yards (370 m) upstream from today's community center to accommodate vessels loading goods for shipment downriver; this wharf remains extant as part of CAMAS' current town square today. Today'sCamas began developing rapidly after World War II whencamels became available for husbandry in large numbers due to bumper crop prices resulting from increased demand for meat throughout much of North America following World War II. A railroad station was built southeast of town nearpresent day Highway 97 shortly after war ended; however rail service ceased operations before it could be extended into Camas proper which led to rapid development within camasus only a short distance away along what is now Highway 97W

In 1901, the Washington Territory was created from part of Oregon. The area that would become Camas lay in what is now Cascade County, Washington. For a time, the town of Camas was the only permanent settlement in this new territory. By 1907, however, there were also settlements at Puyallup and Seattle. The first settler in Camas was George Chapman who arrived on February 11th, 1887. He homesteaded land east of the camas River on a small tract of land known as "The Ranch." This location would later be used for Camas High School and other purposes. In 1908, Chapman's son-in-law John Aiken settled in Camas and began to raise hay and cattle. In 1911, when Congress changed the name of the Washington Territory to Multnomah County after Republican Senate candidate Jack Winthrop Multnomah had won an election in Portland (then part of Oregon) with support from Native Americans living in that state,Camras became one of the few localities within Multnomah County to receive its own governing body -the Board of Commissioners. The commissioners were responsible for maintaining public amenities such as schools and roads; managing public finances; policing their county; providing fire protection;and performing other important functions within their jurisdictional boundaries. As CAMAS matured into a village during World War II both primary production operations for CAMAS' citizens -namely haying and beefing up military supplies-and postwar reconstruction efforts took place here as well: construction began on Rambo Dam which irrigated much-needed farmland adjacent to CAMAS while military barracks were completed nearby housing 1st Infantry Division soldiers until they left for Japan in 1945 followed by civilian workers constructing new homes throughout town while also picking apples off trees near Interstate 5/SR 99 interchange
