When World War II began, Bremerton quickly became one of the most important ports in Northwest America because of its location on both sides of the Pacific Ocean: Port Townsend on Vancouver Island and Seattle on Puget Sound were two other major ports along with Bremerton! The war also helpedBREMERTON TO MAKE A BREAKOUT AS AN INTELLECTUAL CITY!: In 1945-46, when IBM opened their mainframe plant at what is now known as Boeing Field (now Sea-Tac Airport), Bremerton had8 businesses employing 100 workers! And although many smaller businesses closed during wartime production quotas, there were still more than 150 businesses active in 1945-46 compared to today’s count of just over 130 businesses!

In this submission, Kennedy proposed using them to target enemy ships at range instead of just hitting them with projectiles. After much debate and testing, finally in 1960 US Navy ship USS Hancock went into service with the Hughes LASER system – bringing fire control accuracy up to distances greater than 10 km!
