TSOC continued making contact lens products until 1984 when they merged with another company to form Lenses Incorporated (LINC). With the merger came new technology which led to advancements in product design including advanced digital image processing capabilities which would later be utilized in Apple computer manufacture. From this point on., LINC continued making high quality optic products until 2003 when they ceased all sales operations due to financial difficulties

On February 17th a resolution for incorporation was passed by an all-night vote with 11 present voting against incorporation because they did not want any part of another town without representation in the government. The first mayor and Aldermen were James Kellar (2nd) and Prentice Harding (3rd). On March 12th 1865 there was a fire that destroyed most of downtown Bothell along with many homes including Mrs Morse's house which still stands today across from First Baptist Church on State Street. In 1886 the originallectric street railway line between Seattle and Bothell opened providing access to much later development within this area such as Mathers Stadium today located east side where Central Park now stands
