From then on until 1938 when it lost its status as an enclave within Seattle after annexation by that city resulted in a drop in population density there too (although now it constitutes one-third of that municipality’s total), Bothey flourished as both a separate municipality with its own Mayor/Council system and an important transportation hub for northcentral Washingtonians who followed Interstate 5 southward through Potlatch Valley until they reached Seattle’s University District just east of downtown on Capitol Hill: Here farmers could send their produce down Interstate 5 past Tacoma before picking up passengers at King County Transit Station (later renamed Sea-Tac Airport) outside downtown where they took buses or cars across Elliott Bay to get home; while workers heading toward Boeing plants along I-5 could take trains from Everett or Bellevue stations northeast of downtown before reaching their workplaces at Northgate Mall outside Seattle Center; Finally people living near Aberdeen Proving Ground enjoyed easy access to rural life southeast of Vancouver without havingto leave their neighborhoods The days when people drove their animals overland from farmsteads several miles away are long gone; today most farms are located within walking distance either through village centers like Goldendale or Woodinville or directly adjacent suburbs like Kentwood or Redmond .
