Bonney Lake is a small town in Spokane County, Washington, located on the shores of Lake Bonney. The population was 1,591 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Wenatchee-based city of Wenatchee. The first permanent settler in what is now Bonney Lake was George W. Bowers who arrived in 1877 and homesteaded near present day Central Avenue and Third Street. During World War I, many men from Bonney Lake enlisted in the military and helped with food production in Western Washington; one man managed to farm all fifty acres he worked! In 1923, a group of local businessmen pooled their money to purchase land east of central avenue for a new municipal park which would include baseball diamonds, tennis courts, swimming pools and other amenities for the people of Wenatchee and surrounding towns. The park was dedicated on May 2, 1926 by Mayor John Ahern . Today, Bonney Lake has seen growth over the years with several businesses opening up within its borders: First National Bank (now Capital One), Johnson's Gourmet Market (now Sprague's), KFC restaurant (now Jamba Juice), Target store (now Ross Dress For Less) as well as numerous homes being built alongshoreline throughout recent decades. With so much development going on nearby it can be difficult to determine just how significant Bonney Lake actually is within the larger community – but if you ask any resident they’ll tell you that they’re always happy to see more residents coming through town!

Bonney Lake is a small town in the Toquaneta Valley of Eastern Washington. The community was founded by a group of farmers in 1865, and it grew rapidly after the United States government built a military post there in 1881. By 1920, Bonney Lake had over 1,000 residents, and it remained an important agricultural center until the early 21st century. In recent years, Bonney Lake has become known for its tourist attractions, including its beautiful lakeside villages and its popular waterfalls.
Bonney Lake was founded in 1892 by George and Anna Bonney. The first post office at the site was established in 1893. The town of Bonney Lake was incorporated in 1896. The population of Bonney Lake reached 1,500 people by 1910. In 1924, the town became a city. In 1990, the city of Bonney Lake merged with the adjacent village of Eagle to form the current city of Eagle-Bonney Lake.
