Today NAS BoeingEmployee Training Centers offer undergraduate/ graduate level aviation training courses from various US airlines including Alaska Airlines mainline flying as well as helicopter operations from Grumman Field Airport which offers over 100 acres for helicopter operations! In 1957Bellingham voters passed a $1 million bond issue to build new schools and sewer systems in order to improve education opportunities for all residents within our community including girls beginning primary school In 1965 voters passed another bond issue increasing funding for public transportation including bus service into Downtown Bellingham which has greatly improved access today for students living outside central business districts or within walking distance thereof! In 1984 voters passed yet another bond issue amending zoning laws allowing industrial development adjacent to light rail lines providing jobs in transport manufacturing while also protecting open space along Light Rail corridorside! Today many businesses locate near light rail stops serving commuters with easy access both inside city limits & out! This kind of growth &csnl; cannot be stopped!!
