The first gun magazine in Bellevue was called the Bellevue Rifle and Pistol Club. It was founded in 1892 by three men: George W. Smith, Nathan Thurston, and John A. Macdonald. The club conducted shooting exhibitions, taught muzzleloader shooting, and provided supplies for local rifle clubs. By 1903, Bellevue had two gun magazines: The Bellevue Rifle & Pistol Club (BRPC) and the Bellevue Shotgun & Pistol Club (BSPC). BRPC was founded by John A. Macdonald and Nathan Thurston while BSPC was founded by David Heiman and Harry Cavanaugh. In 1907, BRPC became the Bellevue Gun Clubs Incorporation while BSPC became the Bellevue Rifle & Pistol Association Incorporation in 1911. In 1916, DRP published its first issue of " bullet journal", which remains one of the most popular firearm magazines today due to its wide variety of articles on firearms topics including hunting, target Practice, self-defense tips etcetera

The first post office was established in Bellevue on July 10, 1855, by Jens Rasmussen with nine mailbags sent out that day. The first letter mailed from Bellevue was "To All Who Are Concerned" on August 3rd along with greetings from various other communities within the former Kingdom of Denmark proper including Christiansborg Palace which served as both royal court house and home for many top dignitaries during that time including 1st Viscount Nelson who resided there for several months in 1851 while he unsuccessfully campaigned for British crown prince Frederick Augustus II.. In 1911, Bellevue annexing neighboring towns of Burien to form another large city –Burien had grown rapidly since it incorporation into BellevUE – but separate water services continued until 1959 when Kings Bay Bridge opened connecting both cities making them one entity again! BellevUE has seen some major changes over time such as becoming an urban core status thanks to Rapid Reactions pins program activated after 9/11; annexed neighborhoods such as SeaTac Airport; suburban growth around SR-5 which has created extensive employment opportunities throughout unincorporated areas across King County; annexation of rural areas within King County creating more housing development opportunities & jobs; numerous renovation projects have taken place inside & outside city limits over recent decades including new sidewalks, streetlights etc., all while keeping up appearance standards set by City Hall himself! Today's BellevUE offers much more than just grocery stores & restaurants: heavy industry such as Boeing 777 manufacturing plants (& their associated surrounding businesses), light industrial properties (such as Microsoft’s Redmond campus) / Nippon Paper Lumber Company mill located just south of downtown (!); acres upon acres of undeveloped waterfront land stretching all along I-405 providing plenty of maritime access yet remaining largely undeveloped for fear concerns about noise pollution…the list goes on! While some residents may find this pace& Scope too much for their taste or lifestyle they understand that having high quality job options close at hand iscritical ingredients to maintaining our vibrant culture & economy!
