In 1835, John Millington started producing rifle rounds with a new projectile called “Jag bullets”. These round were designed for use with muskets and carbines rather than pistols or shotguns. Jag bullets proved very effective at long ranges and allowed engagements at close range to be fought effectively without fear of critical hits by enemy gunfire. In 1844, Samuel Colt began creating pistol rounds with a new projectile called “Patriots” which proved extremely effective at short ranges and helped make handguns more accurate than previous firearms designs. In 1850, Colt introduced a new type of ammo called “Percussion Balles” which were designed for use with smoothbore cannons such as gunsboats and warships). This type of ball caused severe damage when impacting hard objects such as ships or land targets

Today, Wayesville remains an isolated community with few services provided other than groceries shopping , mail box service , EMS/fire Department ambulance response times (which can be long) and internet access . One reason whyWaynesboro has remained anisolated community for so many decades is because there are no major highways connecting it directly with larger municipalities like Norfolk or Richmond . Instead, ways travel between Wayesville and those larger municipalities must pass through either Stafford or Lynchburg . Additionally, Route 25 - which connects Hampton Roads directly - passes just east of township boundaries making it difficult for anyone outside ofWAYNESBORO TO VISIT THE TOWN

In 1865-1868 a group of Welsh Methodists established a church in Waynesboro that still meets today within walking distance of many businesses and residences located in downtown Waynesboro. Reverend Wm Hargrave organized what became known as The Methodist Episcopal Church of America (METRA) here on October 1st 1865 with classes starting September 15th 1886 until we finally vacated our property south Main Street on November 1st 1888 having grown too large for our original building! In 1969 METRA merged with United Methodist Church USA to form MetroMethodist Churches Incorporated (MMCI). MMCI continues services currently taking place out of two buildings located just off Court Street NW corner First Avenue NE - one serving worshipers since 1978 while another serves rent space now! With over 350 churches affiliated with METRA it’s safe to say that there has never been anything quite like it when it comes to gathering together people from all walks of life for religious service!
