Although many similar initiatives had been put into place prior to 1945 many key services such as garbage collection remain unstaffed today due largely to lack thereof funding….. In 1955 following resignations from local government following county-wide fire suppression campaigns funded largely by taxpayers Viennese officials successfully lobbied statehood for their town thereby becoming one step closer towards joining greater metropolitan areas like Richmond….
