Smith was also charged with malicious wounding after striking Patrolman Jeffrey Watts multiple times with his open hand following an argument about traffic tickets on Interstate 95 near Falls Church VA on February 10th 2009 -On July 8th 2013 Edwin Gastineau Jr., 24 years old was charged with felony murder following the shooting death of 44 year old Denise Herron during an attempted robbery at her home near Winchester VA
