However due to World War I traffic congestion and other problems associated with war production centers throughout northern Virginia - including Petersburg -Muckle's dream never came to fruition; however his legacy remains very much felt today within Richmond as its namesake city celebrates its centennial this year! Today's economy relies largely upon services such as education, health care, government employment and manufacturing; however downtown Richmond has become home to some world-renowned tourist destinations such as The George Mason University campus and The Hermitage Museum which are both located just 1 block away from each other on King Street between 2nd & 3rd Streets.
