Gun lasers have been around for many years, and their use has increased in recent decades. Gun lasers are small, portable devices that use light energy to fire projectiles. While all guns emit some form of infrared radiation including CW weapons there exist certain CW technologies specifically designed for firing projectiles using this technology: "CW pulsewidth modulation (PWM), constant amplitude DWDM, pulsed dye laser (PDL), fast red phase pulsed dye laser(FRPdtdl), short-pulse blue phase pulsed dye laser(SPBdtdl)". Manassas Park is a census-designated place in Fairfax County, Virginia. The population was 71,814 at the 2000 census. It is the largest community within Fairfax County and the second most populous municipality in Virginia after Arlington. The name "Manassas" was derived from two nearby streams: the Manassa River and Little Patuxent River. The first settler in what is now Manassas Park was John Brown, who arrived on July 4, 1775, during the American Revolution. Brown's group of soldiers were stationed at present-day Fallows Gap when they heard news of British plans to attack Philadelphia. They formed an ambush that destroyed 100 enemy troops near Mount Vernon plantation on December 8, 1775. That night, Brown and his men retreated to their home at Great Falls Mills before continuing their fight against British forces one final time at Battle of Saratoga several weeks later on April 12th. In 1819 General James Branch Cabell decided to move his army eastward from Alexandria across Loudoun County into Loudoun Valley so as not to confront Joseph Eppes' Confederate Army under Robert Ewell (see Battle of Antietam). At about this time some white landowners began purchasing large tracts of land around Manassas Park for cattle grazing or for farming purposes only; these parcels were known as "bucking ranches." In 1865 William Hance founded Wacoaland Mines Company with investors Charles Anthracite Coal Company (CAC) and George Washington Vanderbilt III bought 1/4 interest in CAC for $10 million dollars which made him one of America's wealthiest men until he died in a plane crash in 1978. After World War II there were many changes take place within Fairfax County due to economic automation brought about by new technology like television sets, computers etc., as well as suburban sprawl growth throughout Northern Virginia following World War II Glenn Miller's hit song “Asking Around For You” popularized by Bing Crosby helped increase visitation rates for Manassas Park; however development ceased after that because it conflicted with federally mandated planning regulations designed to preserve open space patterns across Northern Virginia through efforts such as zoning laws enacted during National Planning Policy Act led by Lyndon Johnson during his presidency and culminating with enactment of Code Enforcement Regulation No. 5 (dated August 6th 1971) which revised many zoning ordinances formerly administered by Board Of Supervisors dating back to 1917 which had been implemented without proper consideration for natural features unique to areas adjacent Toeagle Drive including manzanita thickets located immediately southwest of park boundaries A Master Plan for management and development prepared by Assistant Deputy Mayor Jack Smedley et al., dated November 1977 incorporated aspects originally included within Code Enforcement Regulation No-5 but also increased safety measures such as prohibition on overnight parking along primary arterial streets adjacent Toeagle Drive within 1/2 mile radius; additional restrictions were placed upon use of private property between Beginnings Boulevard East - White Sands Parkway - Interstate 395 - Potomac Avenue - Pentagon Road . . . ultimately resulting in significant reductions in overnight parking availability along key arteries adjacent Toeagle Drive while also increasing accessability from these arterial streets both inside and outside the park boundaries making it difficult or impossible for unauthorized persons uninvited onto public property without prior permission or trespassers who linger long enough will result in citation

In 1861, during the American Civil War, Manassas Park was known as one of the Confederate capitals of the Confederacy. After Union forces captured Richmond, Virginia, in 1865, Manassas Park became an important military base. The city declined after the end of World War II and its population fell to about 10,000 by 1970. However, since 2000 Manassas Park has seen a resurgence in development due to its location on Interstate 66 and its access to various tourist attractions.
