This type of laser sight had some major advantages such as being much more stable and easy to operate than earlier versions, being able to track moving targets accurately with just a few clicks of your mouse, and allowing users to fire firearms with only one hand free! In 1975, Stevens Corporation released their own version of the LGS which became known as the Stevens Ultralightweight Laser Sight (ULS). It was also quite successful and quickly became popular among hunters and shooters!
