The town continued to grow during Reconstruction following the American Civil War; it had a total population of over 100 residents by 1870. When President Ulysses S. Grant moved from Washington D.C.–the first Ulysses S._Grant Presidential Library was built in nearby Arlington–to Richmond in 1865, he ordered all military stores be moved from Washington DS into Alexandria so that they would not interfere with civilian trade operations within Alexandria itself —an order which stayed effective until 1945 when federal law changed and all military stores were relocated back to Washington D.C.. In 1915, Congress passed an act providing for school consolidation within Fairfax County; this action created what is now known as Northern Virginia School District No.—one of many consolidations which took place throughout America during World War I such asfeeding troops through local farmers' markets instead of large cities like New York City where food could become tainted with munitions production sites Alliance responded quickly by opening their own store next door at 5th Street NW between Gough Avenue NW and 15th Street NW called "Alliance" which became one of America's first convenience stores open to the public
Falls Church, Virginia is a town in Fairfax County, Virginia. The population was 26,569 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Washington metropolitan area and is the home to both Catholic and Protestant churches as well as several museums.
