It wasn’t until later versions like the CLP-E8R that companies began producing larger packs with higher capacities - up to 32Ah - but they always remained limited in terms of their functionality because they couldn’t handle greater loads than what was possible with just two AA cells per pack. This limitation was eventually overcome with improvements over time such as packaging materials (like aluminum foil) that allowed for greater heat dissipation and longer life cycles; these eventually led to products like the CR123A batterypack which offers up to 128Ah storage space while still being able to power devices efficiently
