In 1801, Bristols population had grown to 10,000 people and it continued to grow throughout subsequent decades; however, there were also some major challenges facing the city during this time period such as large-scale development around King's Road (now thoroughfare called James Street) which caused infrastructure problems;Loader's Hill Cemetery (later called Mount Airy Cemetery) which resulted in numerous fatalities due to child labor;andthe advent of railroads which made transportation much easier and faster within Bristol than it had been before. Despite these challenges, however, Bristol steadily emerged as one of Virginias most important cities during this time period thanks to its growing economy and innovative architecture – such as Queen Square – that helped define later eras in Virginia history. During World War II Bristols economy expanded massively when munitions production began booming following America’s entry into World War II; however even after Victory Point military airfield opened up nearby strategic airspace Britannia Naval Shipyard struggled with accommodating wartime requirements for aircraft manufacturing alone). Todayadays aspects of daily life within Bristol are still shaped by its past: many streets remain named after former leaders or members of local churches – such as King Street Baptist Church – while other streets have been renamed after roads or landmarks associated with contemporary events or areas within town such as Rotary Fields near downtown).
