In 1875, two brothers named John Browning formed their own company in Springdale, Arkansas, which would later become known as Browning Firearms Company Ltd., Incorporated (BFC). This company manufactured pistols and rifles under license from several manufacturers including Colt & McLennan Manufacturing Corporation (C&M), Springfield Armory Company (SA), Chiappa Arms Corporation (Chiappa), Smith & Wesson Manufacturing Corporation (S&W), Franchi American Legion Armory Company Incorporated (FALCOI) – all within a few years of each other at most! In 1907 BFC merged with National Firearms Association which had been founded earlier that year by businessman George Ewing! At its peak production capacity it produced up to 2 million pistols a month!During World War II both BFC’s facilities preparation for production on behalf of the military went into high gear as did marketing efforts leading up to America’s entry into hostilities! Blacksburg is a town in Prince William County, Virginia, United States. The population was 20,623 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Prince William County and home to the University of Virginia. Blacksburg is also home to 1,883 businesses and organizations listed in the 2000 Census as "small business owners". The first people to live in what is now Blacksburg were humans who lived on Long Island before migrating downriver to what is now Prince William County. Eventually, these humans mixed with other indigenous groups living in the area and developed their own culture and language. In 1776, when America was founded, two men named George Washington and James Kenedy traveled from Mount Vernon to determine whether or not Virginians should become part of the new nation. They voted against joining America because they felt that it would be better for Virginians if they remained separate from other colonies. In 1801–1802, General Edmund Kirby Smith built a military fort at what is now Fort Magruder on Roanoke River after discovering an abandoned Indian village near where today's Blue Ridge Parkway meets InterstateHighways5 south of Blacksburg. The fort served as a base of operations for Smith's campaign against Seminole Indians and later became known as Fort Alston after Lt.-Colonel John Waddell's arrival in 1814 to take control of the area following Smith's departure from Battle Hill (now Winchester). In 1836–1837 Colonel Robert Ewell organized a group of nine men called "The Boys" who attempted unsuccessfully to cross Little Tennessee River from Cumberland County into King George County during the Second Great Migration period (1825-35). Edward Robinson had led similar unsuccessful efforts earlier that year northeastward along then current Uwharrie Creek within modern day Loudoun County; however this attempt proved more successful as Robinson reached King George Valley by September 25th instead of reaching Cumberland Valley until October 2nd due largely to his horse Sallie becoming stuck between boulders upstream belowpresent day Pulaski Summit Road bridge over Little Tennessee River east of White Sulphur Springs while crossing over on Septembe
