Ammunition history in West Valley City, Utah began with the founding of the city in 1875. The first store in town was located on Main Street and sold bullets by the bag. In 1881, a company was founded that manufactured and distributed fire arms. The original armory was built on State street and served as a training ground for local militia. Ammunition sales continued to grow throughout the years until 1905 when Federal Firearms Corporation moved into the old Post Office building on State Avenue. At this time, ammunition sales ceased entirely due to regulations set forth by the United States government prohibiting possession of firearms within any city limits. In 1911, Ammunition Corporation merged with Winchester Repeating Arms Company creating one of the largest firearm companies in America. During World War II, Ammunition Corporation produced munitions for both military service and civilian use. In 1947, Ammunition Corporation was purchased by Browning rifle company which continued production until 1994 when it became an affiliate of Magpul Incorporated. This left AmmoCorp with a legacy of producing high quality rifles and shotguns ever since!

Additionally, it became an important stop on Route 66 which connecting Iowa with Texas through Arizona and California. When World War II broke out over Europe's effort to gain control over strategic resources such as oil reserves and gas fields across North America, West Valley CITY became a boomtown eager for any opportunities that could be found within its borders . factories were built throughout downtown including a massive aluminum plant that employed more than 10 000 workers during wartime; homes were constructed for soldiers stationed at nearby military bases; schoolchildren collected candy bars from company-owned stores while their parents worked long hours inside factories or outside working farms; churches established parishes throughout town amid religious fervor; locals danced around nightlights while singing patriotic songs; cafes served international cuisine while residents entertained themselves with box scores from baseball games or films releasedArgshelly
