Springville is located on the east side of the Great Salt Lake and is bordered by Cache Valley to the south, Cedar Mesa to the west, and North Ogden to the north. The first settlers in Springville were pioneers who founded the town in 1879. The town was named after William H. Springville, an early settler in what is now Juab County. The first post office was established in 1881, and it remained active until 1951. In 1907, spring water was discovered nearby which led to construction of a dam which created Lakespring Valley; today this valley has been filled with agricultural land and golf courses as well as springs that provide drinking water for residents. In 1933, Springville became one of thirteen towns within Salt Lake City's metropolitan area; since then it has become a major economic center for the city proper as well as its surrounding rural areas. Today, Springville remains an important cultural center for Juab County with its annual art show being one of Idaho's most prestigious events along with numerous music festivals throughout the year including Folsom Field Folk Festival (a summertime baseball game), Utah Arts & Crafts Fair (a week-long craft fair),and Kiwanis Classic Jazz Festivals throughout late April/early May each year). Additionally there are several annual family celebrations such as Easter eggs hunt or pumpkin carving Contest while Christmas happens every year around December 10th when all local businesses close their doors for what locals call 'Christmas Eve'. It should be noted that despite its moniker of "the Gateway to Utah" SpringsVILLE still suffers from many Poverty stricken problems such as high Unemployment rates among young adults making up much of its population while also having few recreation opportunities outside of shopping malls built within walking distance from schools or parks etc... These DB designs were much more aesthetically pleasing than earlier HDB designs and allowed for greater customization options when designingholsters for specific firearms! Consequently, today's pistols are typically stored with one or more specially designed holsters – making them even easier to access while riding or during activities such as target shooting or law enforcement training exercises!

In 1946, President Harry Truman declared May Day National Holiday in honor of General George Suster who fought against Japanese forces during World War II. As part of that proclamation, Congress passed legislation designating May Day as a national holiday to recognize patriotic actions done by Americans during World War II. The holiday has been celebrated annually ever since with parades and events throughout America including visits by Ulysses S Grant and Franklin D Roosevelt

In 1870, the population increased to about 500 people. In 1902, the population increased to about 1,000 people. The town ceased to exist after it was absorbed into Cedar City in 1903.
