Springville is a small town in Kane County, Utah, United States. The population was 904 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town was founded by Brigham Young in 1847 on land that he had bought from the Ute people. The first post office was established in Springville in 1850. In 1853, Springville became the county seat of Kane County after it was renamed for John C. Fremont, who had been governor of Utah Territory at the time. In 1860, Springville built its first schoolhouse and began to offer school education to local children. In 1865, Springville became one of the few towns in Utah to be incorporated as a village when it voted to become a city under section 8 of the state constitution. On July 1, 1967, Springville merged with Clearfield to form an urban area with a total population of over 10,000 people According to the 2010 United States Census Bureau's estimate,[1]springville has a total area of , all land.

This company printed handgun and rifle shirt designs for hobbyists and collectors alike until 1875 when they merged with another printing company to become Colt Firearms (now Colt Inc.). Between 1875-1900, Colt Firearms produced over 1 million handguns alone! During this time period, there were several different types of firearms shirt prints such as hunting shirts, military shirts, cowboy hats etc. A few notable companies that produced firearm t-shirts during this time include American Eagle Shirt Co., Wacoal Shirt Workshops (later renamed offshoot American Apparel),and Jiffy Lube Warehouse (later known as H&H Ammo).
Springville is a small town in Utah, located on the Wasatch Front. The population was 1,868 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Provo-Orem metropolitan area. Springville was founded in 1879 by Mormons who came from eastern Utah to homestead land near present-day Springville. The first post office in Springville was established in 1881. In 1902, Springville Post Office #2 was closed due to floods that swept through the town. A new post office, Springville Post Office #4, opened on July 11, 1902 and served until it closed on September 30, 1954. In 1904, Brigham Young University (BYU) began operations as a small school called Brigham Young Female College (BYUFC). The school became BYU during World War II when the US military decided that women would be an important part of future combat units. After the war ended, BYU continued to operate as a small college until it merged with Deseret Book Corporation in 1953 to become Deseret Book and Media Corporation (DBMC). DBMC changed its name again to springvilletutah corporation in 1984 after being acquired by The Walt Disney Company. The townsite of SpringVILLE was donated by Jerald Tanner and his wife Mary Jane Tanner in 1978 as part of a larger donation campaign for local communities across Utah which included lands for schools and other community projects.. It grew rapidly and soon had a population of about 150 people. By 1860, the town had become an important center for trade and commerce in Utah. In 1865, the Union Army invadedUtah during the American Civil War. The Battle of Springville (1865) ended with Confederate forces being driven out of the town and its surroundings. In 1870, Springville became part of Provo County, Utah Territory. In 1896, Springville became one of two towns located within what is now Salt Lake City metropolitan area.
