Shooting Target Holders

The first target holders were invented in South Jordan, Utah in the early 1800s. These devices allowed shooters to hold targets at various distances and angles, which made it easier for them to hit their targets. Target holders also helped shooters reduce their chances of hitting their target by ensuring that they were holding the target at an angle that was not optimal for shooting. Target holders continued to be popular until the late 1800s when they became less common. However, they are still remembered today because of their importance in the history of target shooting.

Shooting target holders are a very popular type of shooting equipment. They provide a stable platform for your shots, and make it easy to hit the target. There are many different types of shooting target holders, but the most common ones are the Weaver style holders. These holders have two posts that fit snugly into each other, and a small hole in the center that you place your shooting probe through. You then place the target on top of this post, and hold onto one of the posts with your hand. The other post is used to support your rifle or shotgun while you shoot at the target. This type of holder is perfect for people who want to use a bipod to stabilize their shots while they're shooting at targets.

South Jordan, Utah is a town located in Weber County, Utah, United States. The population was 1,813 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first European to visit South Jordan was Juan Francisco de Paula y Quadra on October 20, 1795. The site for today's town was chosen by Colonel John C. Fremont on November 2, 1847 as his winter quarters for the troops guarding against possible Indian attacks south of the Great Salt Lake Valley. On February 14, 1850 Brigham Young and members of the LDS Church founded what would become South Jordan Station on the Wasatch Range near present-day Springdale. On April 3, 1860 Mormon pioneers led by George Atherton arrived at Springdale from Provo and began construction of what would become South Jordan Cemetery which opened in 1865. In 1886 James Waddell built what became known as "The White House" (later called "The Presbyterian Meetinghouse") in central South Jordan to serve as a social and religious center for newly arriving Latter-day Saints immigrants from around the world who were coming to Zion Valley during that year's gold rush boom period. In 1916 President Woodrow Wilson visited Southern Utah during his presidential campaign and made speeches at both Springdale School (now Brigham Young University) and Park City Academy before traveling on to Salt Lake City where he delivered a speech before Congress from atop Mount Moriah just outside downtown Salt Lake City on August 24th! He later attended an LDS temple dedication ceremony at Garden Grove Temple located adjacent to today’s University Avenue in Downtown Salt Lake City – one day after Summit Temple had been dedicated! There are many different types of shooting target holders. Some people use them for target practice, while others use them for competition or outdoor shooting. The history of target holder is quite interesting and can be traced back to ancient Egypt. There were actually two types of shooting targets: the papyrus paper target and the wooden stake target. The papyrus paper target was used for firing arrows at a stationary object, such as a tree or wall, while the wooden stake target was used for hunting animals. In order to shoot at these targets, shooters had to find a way to hold onto thetarget so that they could accurately fire their arrows. One common method was to use an old pot as a handle, but this method also caused problems because it became difficult to control the Target when it was in motion. Many different design ideas were submitted in order to solve this problem, but no one ever came up with a perfect solution. Eventually, someone decided to make an actual Shooting Target Holder! This invention allowed shooters to hold onto their Targets while they fired their arrow at them.

There have been many different types of shooting target holders over the years. Some are simple, while others are more complex. The most popular type is the traditional clamshell target holder. This type of Holder attaches to a gun’s mag well and provides an easy way to hold your targets without having to take off your grip every time you need to shoot. There are also Target Holders that attach directly to rifle stocks (pictured above).
