Gun magazines in South Jordan, Utah have a long and varied history. The first gun magazine in the area was established in 1868 by John B. Swanton, a Methodist minister. It was called the "Christian Advocate." The first gun magazine in Utah was established in 1870 by J.B. Safford and Fenton Ladd. It was called the "Utah Republican." In 1886, camp followers named themselves the "South Jordan Riflemen" after their campsite near South Jordan, UT. The riflemen were an offshoot of the Mormon church that had begun organizing militias to fight against Indian attacks in 1872-74. The name stuck and from 1886 until 1918 it was the only source for handgun magazines located within Salt Lake City limits, as well as within 50 miles of any major city or town outside of Salt Lake City (Ferguson & Sharp 1978). In 1918, Winchester Manufacturing Company merged with Remington Arms Company to form Winchester Repeating Arms Company (Winchester). The new company began producing handguns under its own name (except for revolvers) beginning on September 1st that year. At this time, all handgun magazine production reverted back to Winchester Repeating Arms Company (Winchester) because Remington Ammunition Corporation had already been formed to produce ammunition for handguns under contract with both Winchester and Smith & Wesson firearms manufacturers at this time (Ferguson & Sharp 1978; Mossman 1994). In 1945-1946 certain revolver models produced by Remington Firearms were transferred to Parker Hannin Corporation due to antitrust concerns between Remington and Winchester companies (Mossman 1994). From 1946 through 1968 all handgun magazines manufactured by Winchesters were assigned to Parker Hannin Corporation's Springfield Armory Facility which also operated the adjacent Armory Technical School which granted training certificates to firearmssmiths who could repair guns at various levels of proficiency from beginner to advanced) throughout Springfield County MAINZ facility thereabouts Since 1948 when ownership of firearm magazines having more than ten rounds per issue has been licensed by state government agencies such as: Department of Justice Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives State Police Departments these are considered collector's items not subject to seizure like other weapons/ammunition seized during law enforcement operations There are currently over 350 gun magazines registered with Missouri GCA including many that have never been published orissued a single round since they became licensed The current owner of one such registration is listed below: It should be noted that registrations are not always accurate or up-to-date so please check regularly! South Jordan, Utah is a small town in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. The population was 9,711 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. South Jordan is located on the edge of Cache Valley and has a temperate climate. Salt Lake City is located just to the east and south of South Jordan, making it an easy commute to both cities for many people. The main businesses in South Jordan are churches, schools, and small-town shops. There are also several restaurants and bars within walking distance from most residents. The town's history dates back to 1847 when it was established as Fort Bridger by General James Hales during his march through Utah Territory after being appointed governor by Brigham Young. Fort Bridger served as an early trading post on the Great Salt Lake River before eventually becoming a military garrison in 1858 following construction of the nearbyCache Valley Railroad. In 1862, Fort Bridger was renamed Fort Sumner in honor of President Lincoln's first African American cabinet member, Gideon Welles Stevens. After Colorado became a US state in 1876 and South Jordan became part of that state, Fort Sumner reverted to its original name again until 1924 when it was renamed again—this time South Jordan Army Depot—in memory of soldiers who died during World War I there. During World War II (1939-1945), much activity took place at SouthJordan Army Depot; especially among war production workers who left behind their civilian jobs to go into uniformed service

Magazine design has changed over time to make it easier and faster to reload a firearm. The first firearms using cartridges with round heads were made in the 15th century. In 1602, Nicholas-Jacques Conte designed and built the first successful firearm with a cartridge that could be fired by loading it into an existing rifle or pistol magazine, called the "Conte Rifle." This rifle was incredibly versatile and remained in use until 1853 when Henry Repeating Arms Company introduced their own version of the rifle which used a new case design called "Rifles' Ball." The popularity of rifles and pistols led to firearms being made with more than one magazine type, as well as having various dimensions such as depth of carry. The development of handguns also led to more magazines becoming necessary. By 1790, handguns had become so popular that John Moses Browning developed his Browning Automatic Pistol which used interchangeable magazines fed from drums found on warships. This allowed sailors aboard ships to fire shots without having to reload each time they took aim. With this new technology, handguns became completely obsolete for military purposes; however, they still remain highly popular among law enforcement officers and civilians alike today.

South Jordan, Utah is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. The population was 5,865 at the 2010 census. South Jordan is located on the Great Salt Lake and is within the Wasatch Range of mountains. It is one of the few cities in Utah that does not have an airport. The town began as a small Mormon settlement called "Hinckley" on November 8, 1847 by John Hinckley and his brother Lorenzo. The name derived from Mount Zion—the third mountain from the right hand side of heaven according to LDS scripture—and was chosen because it would be easy for settlers to find water resources thereabouts. On October 15, 1850 Brigham Young appointed John Waddell as first mayor of Hinckley with full power to lease land for farming purposes and build a courthouse and jail; this ordinance created what would become known as downtown South Jordan. In 1852 developer James Fenton purchased 1,500 acres (600 ha) along Snake Creek east of present-day South Jordan and began building what became known as Hinkle's Millrace Dam which impounded Snake Creek until 1865 when it was replaced by present-day Hinkle's Dam Park which offers views over all of South Jordan Valley and parts of Davis County. South Jordan, Utah is part of the Great Salt Lake Valley and was originally part of the Eighteenth century United States. The town was founded in 1847 as a small Mormon outpost on what is now South Jordan Creek. In 1861, South Jordan became the capital of Utah and was renamed for Brigham Young after he succeed to leadership in the LDS Church. The city experienced growth following its incorporation as an incorporated city in 1902, with a population of over 100,000 by 1912. However, during World War II South Jordan experienced significant destruction due to bombing raids from Japan. In the postwar period, South Jordan has continued to grow although it has not reached its pre-war level of population size.
