In 1975, another company named Shoei announced their own version of the Shooter Ear Plug known as the “Pioneer Sound System”. This product consisted of four small plastic clips which could be clipped onto either side of one’s head so that they would not have any trouble hearing when using their firearm or listening to music while on duty or travel. In 1978, yet another company named Boston Scientific Corporation released their own version OF THE Shooter Ear Plugs known as simply “Earplugs” .
