By 2013 Amtrak restored passenger service between Ogden and Provo with stops at Layton (west), West Jordan (south), South Jordan (east), East Timpanogos (north)and North Temple Hills( northeast). In January 2009 LDS Church President Gordon B Hinckley announced that move into one large global headquarters would start soon for all church operations worldwide under direction from First Presidency member Thomas Sowell with completion expected within two years.(3) Construction began immediately upon Hinckley's announcement but has been slower than originally planned due to economic conditions around the world.(4) On October 25th 2011 $200 million dollars has been raised towards building out central square since July 2010
