Bipedalism has been present in the Riverton area for many years, and it is not an invention of modern times. The first bipedal humans were found in this area back around 10,000 BC. These early humans had two legs and a single arm, similar to what we see today on Earth. From here, bipedalism spread through the region as people began to migrate and settle. People living in the middle of nowhere started using bipedalism for transportation and working together as a team. As time passed, people began to adapt to their new environment and grew more comfortable with using two legs instead of one. This was a time when Riverton was known as one of the most important cities in Utah because it was home to many famous scientists and engineers. In 670 AD, Mormons arrived in Utah from Missouri. At first they lived among the native tribes but eventually decided to move forward and start their own civilization. They named their new society after God (Mormons are religious people) so that they could be respected by others like themselves. The Mormons didn’t use bipedalism too much until later on when other civilizations began Arriving into our world with this technology changed everything! For example, Spain introduced firearms into Europe while still using human beings as troops which caused all sorts of problems down the road! So long story short; bipedalism changed everything when it came to our world!
Bipedalism has been a part of human nature for as long as humans have been able to walk. However, the first bipedal animals were undoubtedly the dinosaurs. The oldest known evidence of bipedality is from Late Jurassic period fossilized teeth of an herbivore that was probably a basal member of the dromaeosauridae family (Lamarck 1833). This species had two lower limbs and one upper limb, similar to modern day man. In addition, it may have had four toes on each foot instead of three. These fossils date back more than 65 million years and show that early mammals also evolved bipedality. The first evidence forquadrupedality was found in Middle Paleocene (35-25 million years ago) dinosaur tracks which showed the presence of both hind legs and four toes on each foot (Molnar et al., 2001). Heterodactyls are another example of a quadruped that walked with both legs at the same time along with some birds and other Mammals such as hippopotamuses which possess three upperlimbs fused together at the shoulder joint (Peters 2003). It is interesting to note that all these examples share one common ancestor- a herbivore called Eohippus terrestris which lived around 45–40 mya in North America (Hofmeister et al., 2000). From this data it can be inferred that bipedality began evolving independently multiple times across different continents over time. The development of quadrupeds allowed for increased mobility and easier access to resources necessary for our lifestyles today. Riverton is a town in Davis County, Utah, United States. The population was 5,821 at the 2010 census. Riverton is located on the eastern edge of Davis County and includes the unincorporated communities of West Jordan, East Jordan, and Timberline. It is bordered by Cedar City to the west and east and Spanish Fork to the north. The name Riverton comes from "Ravellon," which was given to it by pioneers who crossed the Great Salt Lake in 1847. Located on either side of Main Street are two small villages called Dutch Flat and South Jordan. These settlements were founded in 1851 as part of a larger effort by Brigham Young to settle all of Weber County into one cohesive unit. Mormon pioneers came through this area during the early 19th century looking for new land to homestead. Mormons first settled in what is now Riverton in 1847-48 when they discovered rich coal seams near Cedar City. Before long, other pioneer families had followed suit and established farms around Dutch Flat, North Jordan, South Jordan, Timberline (now known as EastJordan), West Jordan (now known as West Valley), and Cedar City proper. In 1862–63 Brigham Young organized what would become Utah Territory along with portions of neighboring states under his leadership; these areas included Weber County including Riverton. In 1865–66 Union Pacific Railroad began construction across Salt Lake Valley; this project led directly to increased trade between Utah Territory and nearby states which helped spur economic development throughout northwestern Utah during this time period. While Smith served as governor from 1893 until 1901 he vetoed several bills that would have streamlined government procedures within Utah Territory which limited its ability to

Riverton has been home to several Mormon missionaries and their families since 1847 when Brigham Young arrived in what is now Riverton with his party of pioneers. A post office was established here in 1853 and remained in operation until 1907. In 1890, the first electric power plant in Utah was built here at what is now called "The Mill." This facility provided electricity for homes, businesses and schools until 1935 when it became part of the city of Provo
The Riverton area was first settled by the Fremont people in the late 1800s. The town originally consisted of a few buildings and a small stream. It grew rapidly, and by 1910, it had become an incorporated city. In 1915, Riverton became the capital of Utah.
