The project name was AN/TPY2 and it consisted of four main elements: A Teflon scanning mirror with electronically scanned output; A Ceramic resonant mirror featuring negative feedback; An Infrared quantum dot filter wheel; And A High Power Cree LED driver providing around 2 kW beam power at 5500 nm wavelength
