This order caused much hardship for many farmers who were forced to sell their land or leave their families behind. CottonProduction resumed in Ogden during World War I when war materials became available from nearby mines and mills. After World War II ended came an era characterized by rapid economic growth as businesses attracted new employees and more people moved into Ogden seeking opportunities for education and work outside the farm gates; however some aspects such as crime rates have increased since then. Today there are over 10,000 residents in Ogdensburg Quadrangle including 5300 students enrolled at local universities including BYU-Hawaii; 4500 workers employed in various industry sectors including information technology; 7200 citizens working in government agencies; 8000 tourists visiting each month;;and 6000 military personnel stationed here on active duty or contract providing security for our community while they conduct other operations worldwide

After the war ended, however, growth slowed and infrastructure began to deterioration; by 1990 there were only about 50 residents remaining in Ogdensville and Park City neighborhoods outside of downtown Olathe. In 2001, however, population growth resumed with annexation of portions of Park City by Olathe; by 2010 those annexed neighborhoods had reached 715 residents within what is now downtown Olathe boundaries
