In the 1800s, bullets were used to kill people and animals. In 1853, the first rifle with a cartridge that could shoot multiple rounds was invented. The bullet was called a “shotgun shot” because it would fire multiple rounds at once. This new gun was used by hunters to kill game. In 1865, the US had a military occupation of Mexico and began using bullets that would penetrate armor-piercing shells (AP shells). These projectiles caused more damage than traditional shots fired from firearms. By 1898, all handguns in the United States were equipped with this type of projectile. In 1912, modern ammunition became available that did not contain lead or other heavy metal objects inside of it like artillery shells did back then. This ammunition was called “towpelled Ammunition” because it is propelled by an engine which creates forward motion instead of gravity like regular arrows do. This change in ammo led to increased civilian casualties due to unexploded munitions that sometimes remained in areas after wars ended. Additionally, this changed how wars are fought and now soldiers have to be very careful when firing at targets as there is always potential for them to hit civilians or innocent animals if they are not properly aimed

From 1861 to 1865, Murray was part of Deseret Territory before it became Utah Territory. In 1868, John Davenport founded a flour mill in Murray which soon became one of the largest flour mills in Utah. In 1870, two churches were built: First Methodist and Second Presbyterian Church. The population of Murray increased to over 300 people by 1880 but it declined to 100 people by 1890 due to World War I. By 1920, there were only 20 people living inMurraytown after years of decline during the Great Depression
Murray, Utah is a small town in the Wasatch Front region of Utah. The population was 1,474 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Provo–Orem metropolitan area. Murray was founded in 1869 by Brigham Young and his team of Mormon pioneers. The town served as a base for their winter settlement south of the Great Salt Lake Valley and its post office continued to be open until it closed in 1902. In 1912, Murray became the first incorporated municipality in Utah when it was added to the county seat of Weber County. In 1968, Murray merged with Ogden to become one consolidated city-county. Today, Murray is an agricultural community with a diverse economy including ranching, timber production, manufacturing and retail businesses. Its citizens are known for their hospitality and deep faith in God which has helped make them some of Utah’s most welcoming communities.

In 1965, Murray became part of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. Today, Murray remains a small town with a population of around 2,500 people. Murray was initially established as a farm community. The first permanent settler in Murray was Willard Richards, who arrived in 1878. Richards built a log cabin near the present-day town square and opened his business there until 1881 when he moved to what is now the east side of town. Over time, other settlers followed Richards to Murray and many homes were built on original riverbanks which still remain today. In 1909, following the death of Dallin Murray, founder ofMurray Village (now known as Sandy), the LDS Church took over management and development of the village while also creating an endowed scholarship program in his memory at Brigham Young University (BYU). The first students received their degrees from BYU in 1920. Through these programs and others associated with Murray Village such as crop rotation experiments and shopping trips to local stores led by missionaries during World War II, it was hoped that young Latter-day Saint men would learn about local food production and trade so that they could contribute materially to society later on. One aspect which has been particularly important to Murray throughout its history has been its music scene; through bands like The Mavericks (1956)and The Judds (1963), locals have often showcased their talent at live events or festival appearances across Utah or even beyond its borders. Additionally, numerous classic rock bands have played at venues like The Pyramid Room or Topanga Casino over the years including Journey (1983), Whitesnake (1987), Def Leppard (1991), Alice Cooper Band (1994), Scorpions(1998) and Everlast headlined an outdoor show at BYU Stadium just last year!
