It also featured an adjustable carry handle for easy movement around venues or police cruisers. The holster is currently on display at the Utah State Museum in Salt Lake City. Another popular design is the NRA “Targett Pistol Holder” from 1959-1963. Holladay is located in the Wasatch Front Region of Utah and is bordered by Davis County to the north, Weber County to the east, Uinta County to the south, and Tooele County to the west. Captain Smith named the town after himself because he found it on top of an ancient volcano calledMount Nebo which he called "Hollenback." In 1875, Holladay became part of Davis County when it was organized via territorial merger from parts of Weber and Uinta Counties. The town continued to be governed by members of the county board until 1907 when it became a municipality under state law which gave residents voting rights. In 1978, Holladay received city status from Utah State Legislature through act 4236 which granted city status with certain provisions including election day voting being allowed throughout its boundaries concurrent with those of neighboring townships (Tooele City Council had previously denied this request). At that time Tomraton-Sherry Hill Township adjacent to Holladay proper began receiving city services although their boundaries did not coincide with those within Holladay itself until 1984 when annexation occurred due largely to growth within Tooele City limits associated with then-Presidential candidate John Anderson’s visit thereto during his campaign trail stop tour across Utah Valley region.) The history of gun pouches goes back centuries. Gun pouches are mentioned in various documents from different parts of the world. One of the first references to gun pouches is in ancient China, where they were called “jiaozi” or “small bag”. The French explorer and trader Jacques Cartier noted in his journal that the natives of Canada carried guns in their pouches and that these guns were extremely powerful. He also reported that the Indians used them as carries for hunting game. Gun pouches started to be developed independently in different parts of the world during the 19th century. In 1875, a Swiss inventor named Auguste Chandon designed a firearm pouch system which consisted of an inner fabric shell with two straps attached at either end, through which firearms could be inserted and removed quickly and easily. This design was soon adopted by other countries including Italy, Netherlands, France, England and America. During World War II, many American soldiers found it difficult to carry large amounts of ammunition on their person due to their bulky clothing and equipment. As a result, some soldiers began using gun pouches as backpack devices filled with ammunition. These Later became known as “gun-belts” or simply “pouch belts” because they frequently served as attachments for uniforms or armor plates. The popularity of this type of belt increased during World War II when more people began wearing uniforms with external pockets for carrying snacks, water bottles and other supplies. In addition to its military use, some people started using gun pouches as personal protection devices such as those worn by law enforcement officers or members of emergency services personnel. They often contained small amount (up to 2 ounces)of munitions so that they could be used discreetly if needed without arousing suspicions from potential assailants or enemies who might think that these individuals were carrying dangerous weapons instead of necessary supplies like food or water!

Holladay, Utah is an unincorporated community located in Juab County, Utah, United States. Holladay was established in 1855 by Mormon pioneers. The population of Holladay peaked at 1,000 in the early 1900s but has since decreased to about 100. Holladay is one of several Mormon settlements that were founded along the Wasatch Front as part of a larger settlement movement across America during the 19th century.

Holladay was founded in 1847 by George W. Holladay and his wife, Sarah A. Holladay. The Holladays were the first white people to settle in what is now Utah. They named their new town after General Brigham Young, the founder of the Mormon Church. The Holladays built a log cabin on the edge of town and started a small business selling goods from their farm. In 1849, they moved to a larger cabin and began trading with other nearby settlements. In 1850, they made contact with the United States Government and decided to establish themselves as a settlement. They petitioned for land in what is now Utah and received approval from President James K Polk in 1851. The Hollidays built their first home on Main Street in 1860, becoming one of the most successful businesses in Utah.
