Another example is laptops which are typically used in portrait mode but have been designed around using a laptop stand which allows you to use both handsfree whether you’re talking on your phone or typing away on your keyboard! So even if we don’t consider ourselves bipedal creatures by any means (or at least not always), our technology has definitely evolved in ways that support ourwalking lifestyle!

In 1847, the US$2 million gold mine at SALT was discovered in what is now Romney County, Utah. The mine prospered and by 1860 it had become the largest gold mining operation in the Western Hemisphere. By 1875, there were over 1,500 employees working at the mine. The town of SALT grew up around the mine as people from all over came to work in the Gold Rush era. In 1898, a company called Hatch Mining and Smelting Company bought out the original investors in SALT and developed it into a major copper production center. In 1902, Hatch Mining and Smelting Company merged with two other companies to form Denver Copper Corporation. Denver Copper Corporation became one of America's leading copper producers until World War II when its output shifted to aluminum production.
