By 1975 all municipal governments had been consolidated into a single administration called "Councilwoman Weiser". As Councilwoman Weiser's term expired in 1983 she was succeeded by Mayor Jane Hahn who held office until her death in 2005; after her death the office remained vacant for six months before being filled by former Councilwoman Peggy Wright due to her election as Mayor Pro Tem for 2006–2010 period
