The Rifle & Pistol Club Magazine was also the first to offer subscription service. In 1907, the Cedar City Gun Club purchased their own printing press and began publishing their own magazine called the Cedar City Journal. It lasted until 1959 when it was replaced by the current NRA member publication called The Gunyer’s Gazette. The Gunyer’s Gazette was published from 1892-1959 issue number 1 through issue number 6 (covering years 1890-1899). It was one of several publications created by local entrepreneur John Waddell during his time as editor of The Republican (later renamed The Gunnison Valley Republican). In addition to its GUNNISON VALLEY MAGAZINE COVERAGE OF EVENTS section (published every other week), Waddell also created an “Abrams Museum Directory of Local Antiquities” which listed items found at local museums across the valley each week; later this became an insert into The Gunyer’s Gazette itself!

Cedar City, Utah was one of the original towns in the Salt Lake Valley and is home to the oldest gun shop in Utah. The store opened in 1868 and was operated by John Folsom. In 1902, the store moved to its current location on State Street. The shop continued to be run by Folsom until his death in 1957. After Folsom's death, his son John H. Folsom took over operations of the store until he passed away in 1984. In 1990, Cedar City's first gun show was held at the shop and it continues to host shows regularly today.
Cedar City, Utah is a small city located in Cedar County, Utah, United States. The population was 513 at the 2010 census. It is the most populous municipality in Cedar County and the second-most populous city in Utah. With its location on the Wasatch Front, Cedar City is known for its natural beauty and history. The first settlers to what is now Cedar City were Kit Carson Mormons who arrived there in 1847. In 1859, Brigham Young appointed George A. Smith as the first mayor of Cedar City. From 1860 to 1861, Cedar City was under military occupation by General David Neagle because he felt that it would be a threat to his control over Salt Lake Valley. In 1862, Brigham Young designated Cedar City as the site of an LDS temple and moved the entire LDS community from Nauvoo, Illinois to this new city. The temple was dedicated on July 26th 1865 by Elder Orson Pratt withstood multiple challenges during construction due to lack of funds and other problems encountered during early Mormon settlements throughout America; however it opened officially on October 27th 1870 (the day after Thanksgiving). City founder George Hales played a significant role in creating and leading downtown development which has continued uninterrupted up through present day including extensive renovation work done since 2006-2007 when city officials decided that they wanted their downtown core “to look like something out of a postcard” according to current Mayor Glen Evans . Over time many prominent residents have made their mark on downtown such as author Jens Weisel who resided here until his death in 2016; business magnate Craig Kilborn who lived across town until 1991; musician Phil Lesh who started his own music festival here in 1990; actor Rob Lowe which began performing at local casinos here before moving permanently into Utah’s capital city Dailiesburg several years ago; international chef Claude Lamoureux whose casual French restaurant Il Pane opened just off Main Street in 2009 and continues today despite numerous hurricanes hitting southern Utah over the past few years…the list goes on and on with many more notable names having made their presence known via actions or words within or outside of Downtown CedarCity proper over time

Cedar City is a small town in Utah, located on the Wasatch Front. The community was founded in 1847 by Mormon pioneers and has been home to Mormons since its founding. Cedar City is one of the oldest cities in Utah and has a rich history that can be seen today in the buildings and businesses downtown. The city was first settled by Mormon settlers who arrived from Illinois in 1847. The first settler named Cedar City was George Hinkle, who arrived with his family on July 8, 1847. Cedar City was originally known as Fillmoreville after General James Fillmore, who helped lead the U.S. Resistance against Mexico during the Mexican-American War. In 1850, Cedar City became part of what was then called Provo County and remained so until 1907 when it became part of Kane County. Cedar City experienced some turbulent times during its early years as it grew up around Mormonism's new headquarters which were established there in 1854. After briefly being under control of Brigham Young's military forces during the Civil War (1861-1865), CedarCity eventually reverted back to hands of the Mormons once hostilities subsided. However, despite this stability, there were times throughout history when things seem to have gone wrong for CedarCity residents including World Wars I and II; two devastating floods that destroyed much of downtown between 1935-1936; numerous earthquakes over the years; economic crashes such as The Great Recession that hit Downtown CedarCity particularly hard; general store robberies which plagued downtown for several years early 2000s; and most recently, multiple natural disasters caused by Hurricane Harvey which have damaged many homes and businesses within Downtown core over recent weeks (see photo below). All these events have taken their toll on both Cherry Street business owners AND citizens living nearby! It is interesting to note that while some aspects of city life may not always be ideal or convenient for everyone, overall Chery Street remains one of my favorite places to live because it provides access to all sorts of activities & attractions essential to everyday life - things like grocery stores (Grocery Outlet at Third & Market), movie theaters (The Regal Cinemas across State St., CenturyLink Center across University Ave.), restaurants (IHOP & Three Guys Pizza inside Utah Valley Mall), banks (Banking Place next door to LDS Chapel), recreation areas like Pioneer Square/Downtown Park & much more! It also offers plenty of space for pedestrianswalking & biking around without feeling too crowded or squeezed - perfect for exploring urban neighborhoods like Logan Square or University Heights nearby!
