From this time onward, gun sight production rapidly increased throughout America due to advances in technology and industry. In 1896, the club became known as The Riflesmen of America Fork when it amalgamated with other rifle clubs in Utah. In 1912, The Riflesmen of America Fork changed its name to The American Fork Rifle & Pistol Club. In 1916, American Fork Rifle & Pistol Club was renamed The Utah Rifle & Pistol Association when it merged with three other rifle clubs in Utah. In 1947, USRA merged with another rifle society called The National Rifle Association (NRA) to form NRA-USRA which still operates today as one of NRA’s component organizations outside of America
American Fork is a small town in Utah, located on the Wasatch Front. It is one of the most heavily populated towns in Utah and has a population of over 1,500 people. American Fork was founded in 1870 by Mormon pioneers and became an official U.S. village in 1923. The town's name comes from the forks of the rivers that cross it: North fork (or Bigfork) rises to 4,000 feet (1,200 meters) above sea level near the center of town; South fork reaches 3,300 feet (1,100 meters) at its lowest point just east of Main Street. American Fork lies on both banks of the stream that forms its namesake fork and is surrounded by mountainous terrain on three sides. The history of American Fork begins with Mormon missionaries who arrived here in 1870 to establish a new religion based upon their own interpretation of Mormonism's teachings about eternal life and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone. The Mormons built their first homes here around 1871-72, but soon after began clearing land for farms which they named Brigham Young Farmstead and John Fetterman Farmstead after two early LDS missionaries who had come to America to preach Christianity to Native Americans. In 1923, when American Fork was formally established as an incorporated village within the new state of Utah, it retained its original name - Brigham Young Village - although other nearby villages became known by different names during their time as part of Utah's growing social engineering program called "the Great Migration." Today American Fork contains several important cultural attractions such as Brigham Young University's School Of Business Administration; Pioneer Cemetery;and Butte County Historical Museum which preserves local pioneer culture and history along with items from throughout Utah's history including Indian artifacts dating back more than 2 million years! The main street in American Fork is lined with shops, restaurants and churches while also serving as a major transportation artery linking many neighboring communities across Weber County including Cedar City and Provo Canyon!

A group of Spanish explorers followed Ulloa's route through what is now American Fork on their way to find a new route through North America. The first white men to arrive in America were Mormon pioneers led by George Romney in 1847–48. They began building Fort Bridger on the confluence of the Fremont and Bear Rivers which became known as Mormon Mesa. In 1849 Brigham Young founded Deseret News, which published its first issue in 1855 just outside present-day American Fork
