At that time, it was known as “Cedar City” because of its abundance of cedar trees. Cedar City was founded by pioneer George Washington Carver and his wife Sarah Church Carver. They named their new settlement after General James K. Polk, the 30th President of the United States at the time. It wasn’t until 1907 that Webster became anofficial incorporated town within Texas. That year, President Theodore Roosevelt issued a proclamation establishing Webster as a town on account of its strategic location between Dallas and Houston (then two separate counties). In 1909, Webster voters passed a resolution approving annexation by Houston due to its proximity to then-growingHouston Heights (currently one of downtown Houston). In 1947, NRA founder Pat Cleland moved to Webster from Fort Worth and started what would become NRA headquarters here in 1947 – just four years before enactment of the National Firearms Act Amendments which banned all imports/export civilian shotguns and machineguns except for law enforcement agencies with specific authorization from ATF (# 925). This act also mandated gun registration for all Americans over 21 years old # 713669 (see photo below).

Webster, Texas is a small town located in Kerr County, Texas. The population was 1,848 at the 2000 census. It has since shrunk to 1,160. Webster is home to the Webster State Fairgrounds and the Webster-Foulk Museum of Fine Arts. The community also includes a dozen or so small businesses. The first settlers in what is now Webster were farmers who came from Kentucky in 1851. They named their town after John Webster, an American politician who served as U.S. Ambassador to England from 1853-1857 and as Secretary of State under President James Buchanan in 1861-1865. In 1907, the town post office was renamed for General John Fenton Wiley (1795-1878), commanding general of Union forces during the Mexican–American War and one of America's most noted generals of that period. In 1922, a group of local businessmen founded the First National Bank of Webster which still operates today out of its original building on North Main Street. At that time there were only two stores in Webster - Smith's grocery store on East Third Street and Wartime Supply on West Seventh Street - both operated by residents themselves. The bank became one of the largest institutions in the area with over $1 million in assets when it opened its doors for business.. Today, Webster continues to rely heavily on agriculture as its primary source of income with some 8% Of total employment based upon this activity alone according to Census data collected for 2018; however recent trends suggest that this may soon change given how rapidly technology has become integrated into other aspects of life hereabouts including health care and even retail sales!

The first advertising campaigns for these shirts featured national slogans like “The American Revolution was fought with guns” and “1856: America's First Gunfight”. By 1860, there were over 1,000 businesses manufacturing firearms t-shirts across the country. By 1865, rifles had replaced pistols as the most commonly used type of weapon in America. However, due to political correctness, many people still wore handguns throughout most of this period (although they slowly began being phased out). During World War II, firearm t-shirts became popular again as soldiers displayed their weapons during combat scenes or while protesting against fascism. Today, there are many different styles and designs available for purchase online that cater to all types of shooters or collectors.

In 1965, Webster was incorporated as a city, and has since grown into one of the largest cities in Williamson County. Today, its economy is based on agriculture and manufacturing.

In 1865, the United States acquired Texas from Mexico, and the Webster region became part of the new state of Texas. The community continued to grow throughout the years and by 1925 had a population of 2,500 people. In 1930, Webster became an incorporated municipality with a population of 10,000 residents. By 1990, the population had dwindled to 675 people and it remains a small town today with a population below 1,000 residents
