Burnett was a loader and driver for the Texas Ammunition Company from 1907 to 1916. During that time, Burnett stocked and shipped ammunition to various military installations around the state. He also collected rifle and shotgun ammo over the years, eventually donating his collection to the Texan Museum of History in 1978. Burnett’s contributions to ammunition history are numerous and include working on a reloading press at the company, creating standardized rounds for use with rifles and shotguns, helping author loading manuals for both brands of firearms, as well as serving as curator of ammo artifacts at the museum from 1951 until his death in 1982. In all these roles he helped shape how America’s favorite pastime has been perceived by others around the world since he joined forces with fellow shooters back in 1907. The town of Webster in Vernon County, Texas, was founded in 1859 by settlers. The first post office was established in 1867. In 1898, the town was named for Major General John Fayette Webster. In 1907, the town became a school district and the name changed to Webster-Hays School District.
Webster is a small town in Texas, located about 25 miles west of Austin. The population was 7,898 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of McAllen County. The first settler in Webster was Wm. H. White, who arrived in 1836 and started a gristmill on the San Antonio River. By 1840, there were five buildings in Webster: an Methodist church, a schoolhouse and three stores. In 1851, John Brown organized the Second Texas Revolution and made Webster his headquarters; Brown's men burned most of downtown to prevent capture or surrender by Mexican forces that were moving into the area to take it back from Texan rebels. In 1863, when Confederate General Robert Easley attacked Fort Sumter in South Carolina, Webster joined with other Texans in supporting him; this helped set off a wave of volunteers for Union service that swept through Texas during the war. Afterward, many residents moved away to find better opportunities; only one building remained standing in Webster by 1860 (the Methodist church). By 1870, only two buildings remained: a Baptist church and whitesmith shop/cattle barns Nos 2-4 on Main Street (now part of Parkdale Shopping Center). Webster's post office was opened on December 1st 1850 by Jno Cranch; it served as the main mail stop for settlers traveling between San Antonio and Austin while awaiting passage across the river to New Mexico or California via Pecos Ferry. The first crop grown here was cottonseed; wheat followed later but production stopped due to lack of rain water available for irrigation after railroad construction began nearby in 1865. A bakery and hotel were built following World War II; they closed down around 1970 when Interstate 10 was built through Webb County making transportation more efficient than ever before! When word got out that petroleum exploration had been discovered near Midland City east of town (later surface oil production began), citizens quickly developed an interest in having access to this new resource - which led to several businesses being established along I-10 such as ExxonMobilTexacoPhysical Therapy & Physical ScienceCenter

Webster, Texas is a small town in the panhandle of Texas, located about 8 miles east of Amarillo and 10 miles south of Fort Worth. The community was founded by John Webster in 1881. The first post office was established in Webster on April 15, 1886. In 1907, Webster became a county seat of Baird County. After the admission of Webb County into the United States as a result of the Oklahoma Territory annexation in 1907, Webster again became a county seat. In 1917, Webb County seceded from Baird County to become new Dallas County. In 1932, Dallas COUNTY was reorganized into Johnson and Wise counties and Webster became an unincorporated community within Johnson County. The population of Webster peaked at 306 residents in 1950 but has since declined markedly; according to 2004 census estimates it had decreased to 97 residents (the last time these figures were available). Webster’s history can be traced back way before its establishment as a town. John Webster came to this area during the early 1800s with his family and began operation of what would eventually become known as “The Rancho de las Buenas Vidas” or simply “The Ranch” (now part of the city limits of Amarillo). This rancho included land that now makes up much of downtown Webster and portions surrounding present-day residential neighborhoods such as Southgate Boulevard and Elm Street. It is interesting to note that when white men started settling down here they did not just start farming; rather they built homes on their acquisition which reflects our culture today where people often purchase homes rather than build them ourselves due to financial reasons or other considerations like space availability or location for economic development.) For most early settlers this was their permanent home until they decided to move away for various reasons such as becoming too expensive or finding better opportunities elsewhere – something that continues today with some families living permanently here while others commute regularly into larger metropolitan areas such as Amarillo or Fort Worth
