On the night of April 19, 1993, over 1,000 people were slaughtered in Waco, Texas after an attempt to resist back-to-back FBI raids. The events leading up to this atrocity are still largely unknown and remain top secret by the government. It is believed that agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) infiltrated a militia group known as the Branch Davidians and began indiscriminately shooting at any unarmed civilians they came across. In some cases, children were also killed or wounded as their parents tried to save them. The Branch Davidians had been protesting for weeks prior to the raid when ATF agents arrived on scene. The Davidians had made it clear that they did not want any violence erupting and chose instead to engage in peaceful protests outside their compound. Unfortunately for these protesters, this decision paid off catastrophically when law enforcement stormed into the compound with shotguns blazing and began firing indiscriminately at anyone who crossed their path. At least 181 individuals were killed during these initial waves of gunfire; many more may have died if not for heroic actions by firefighters and police officers who managed to keep control of the situation. For days afterwards there was no let up in the onslaught against those living within reach of ATF bullets; entire families were gunned down overnight before finally being evacuated safely Elsewhere in town using buses loaded with explosives so as not to contaminate any innocent bystanders. Today, almost 20 years later, there is still no definitive answer as to why federal agents opened fire on such a densely populated community – one which had absolutely nothing do with terrorism or arms smuggling? There has been much speculation but no solid evidence brought forward against anyone involved in this tragedy except for two men currently serving life terms each for orchestrating it: Terry Nichols and Michael Aquino both face charges relating specifically to Waco – though neither can be held responsible for all aspects of what occurred therein. It is now widely accepted that high levels of government collusion played a role in allowing this massacre to happen - something that should never have happened in our country today if we value our safety above anything else!

During World War II, Hale-Doan played a critical role in helping develop radar technology and helped contribute to victory against Nazi Germany. After hostilities ended, the company continued production until it ceased operations in 1987.
