Victoria, Texas is located in the Midland region of Texas and has a long and storied history with firearms. Victoria, Texas is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The population was 27,951 at the 2010 census. The Victoria metropolitan area has a population of 100,711. Victoria started as an agricultural community in 1887 and grew rapidly during the late 19th century as cattle drives brought new settlers to the area. A post office was established in 1890 and continued to serve until it was discontinued in 1901. In 1907 the town incorporated and quickly grew due to its location on a major Railroad artery. By 1920 Victoria had over 25 businesses and 500 residents. The Great Depression led to mass migration from rural areas into Victoria because of available jobs in the oilfields of Texas and Oklahoma. Many Victorians lost their homes during this time but they persevered with many becoming millionaires through their industry or business ventures which continue into today. According to the 2000 census, there were nearly 30K people of Indian descent living in Victoria with totals that range from 1% up to almost 20%. During World War II many Victorians took part in service either through military service or by working for local companies supplying munitions for war effort both within the United States and abroad; most notably those who made contributions such as Furniture manufacturer Litton Industries (later JBL) which supplied unit helmets for American soldiers throughout North Africa-the Middle East-and Europe; however few actually returned home after hostilities concluded; however many more remain buried at Arlington National Cemetery[1] . In recent years much emphasis has been placed on tourism opportunities with increased accommodations options including Bed & Breakfasts, Motels, CASINO HOTELS etc.; despite being just outside of Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex it still retains its small town feel while enjoying all that Metroplex has to offer!

By 1850, oil production had begun to increase in Texas thanks to hydraulic fracturing techniques developed by Edwin Drake that permitted deep horizontal drilling without obstruction from hillsides or other obstacles encountered when extracting coal or other minerals using traditional methods such as fracking through tight shale formations
Victoria, Texas was founded in 1836 as the seat of Hudspeth County. In 1845, it became part of Austin and was renamed Victoria. The town was destroyed by a fire in 1902, but was rebuilt. It became an agricultural center and served as the county seat from 1901 to 1913.
