Once again, the Mexicans responded with violence and raided American homes throughout Universal City. In response to this spate of aggression against American citizens by Mexicans, Mayor Don Rafael Sanchez decided to arm his city’s police force with guns made specifically for law enforcement purposes. The new holsters would allow officers to more effectively deal with criminals and protect themselves from possible attack. In fact, Sanchez is credited with being one of the first mayors in America to have confidence in firearms as a means of protection for his citizens.
