The first handguns in Tomball were pistols made by George W. Hargrave and Company. These pistols were used by law enforcement officers to protect themselves from attackers. In 1902, John Mclntyre began making holsters for handguns in Tomball. His company became one of the most popular holster brands in Tomball because of their quality products and customer service. In 1955, Armour Holdings Incorporated began producing holsters for handguns in Tomball. This company became one of the biggest holster producers in North Texas because they produced high-quality holsters that were not available from other companies at that time. In 1974, Colt Firearms Corporation began producing firearms south of Dallas/Fort Worth within an expansion of their San Antonio Plant. This plant was used to produce revolvers and pistols under license from various manufacturers such as Smith & Wesson and Remington Arms Corporation (now Ruger). It is said that these guns were not well received by gun enthusiasts due to their unusual design features; however, they remain popular with law enforcement officers worldwide today! In 1994, Glock Manufacturing LLC announced plans to open a new assembly line outside of Fort Worth called “Glock” Station Factory 1 Complex which would be located across I-30 from downtown Fort Worth on Rosedale Drive off FM 620 eastbound between I-710W (University Boulevard) exit ramps #1A & #2A ( adjacent to Sam Houston Tollway). Construction on this project started on October 19th 1998 but had stopped due to financial problems related to global recession conditions at that time! The project restarted on November 16th 2000 after Glock successfully negotiated a $100 million loan from American Express through JV Development Partnerships LLP! The factory will eventually produce more than 100% handgun sales parts including triggers assemblies along with grips and stocks

Tomball is a small town in the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land, TX metropolitan area. The population was 12,542 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tomball Independent School District. Tomball was founded by Judge George Tompson in 1881 as a farming community on a tract of land that now includes much of downtown Tomball and parts of Springtown and Humble. The town's first post office opened in 1885. After years of growth, Tomball annexed portions of Springtown in 1907 and 1951. In 1960, schoolDistrict Superintendent James Crain recommended annexing neighboring towns Springtown and Humble to form an all-new school district with an enrollment of over 20,000 students. A vote resulted in the annexation proposal being approved by voters at 61 percent; the new district would be named the Tomball Independent School District (TISD). The economy has been based largely on agriculture since its establishment, but during recent decades many businesses have closed or moved away from Tomball due to technological advances or competition from other cities within TISD boundaries. Some remaining businesses include Kelly’s restaurant, hardware store, and convenience store which remain open today despite having no business license from TISD; and United We Serve church which provides food for local families through their ministries throughout the weekdays without selling anything else. According to 2016 Census estimates, there are 11% African American residents in Tomball compared to 17% statewide; 10% Hispanic residents compared to 25% statewide; 5% Native American residents compared to 0%. Of note: 7 out of every 100 households (25%) have two working adults who earn income above poverty line while 6 out of 100 households (17%) have three working adults who earn income above poverty line; 1 out every 4 households (10%) consists entirely of seniors age 65 or older while 3/4ths (27%) contain children aged five through 17 years old

During World War II, Tomball played an important role in military operations against Japan because it housed many troops and supplies stationed there. In 1945, following the end of World War II, the city of Austin replaced Tomball as the county's primary commercial center due to its larger population size. The towns consolidated their local government into a single entity under a new mayor/council system during this time. In 2000, Tomball was named one of America's "10 Best Small Towns".
