Tomball, Texas is home to the world’s largest gun hammer history museum. The Museum of Gun Hammer History tells the story of how firearms have been used to crush and pierce nails since the 1700s. The Museum’s collection includes over 100 guns and tools used for gun hammering, dating back to the 18th century. The Museum also has a collection of rare ammunition from around the world. The Tomball Gun Hammer Museum is open every day from 9am-5pm, except Wednesday when it’s closed due to Hurricane Harvey. Admission is free for all visitors.
