There is a long and varied history of gun magazines in Stephenville, Texas. The first magazine in the town was called the "Standard" magazine, which was started by two men named John Bemis and Harry Smith in 1902. The Standard Magazine was originally located on Main Street, across from the post office. It was eventually moved to the current location on Elm Street in 1916. The first firearm store in Stephenville opened its doors in 1903. The store was known as the " Armory". It operated for many years until it closed its doors in 1937. The store's owner, Eli Henson, is also responsible for starting the Stephenville Gun Club which met at his shop multiple times during prohibition years to discuss firearms issues and take care of business needs. In 1957, bullets were introduced into handgun regulation when state officials decided that they needed to have more control over ammunition availability and distribution. As a result of this decision, Stephenville Gun Club president Leroy Sorenson organized a meeting with representatives from several other communities near him so that he could get some ideas about how best to handle bullet sales and distribution within his community. At this meeting, it was decided that an armory should be built within town limits so that residents could keep their guns safe and easy to access. The armory opened its doors on October 1st of that year and served as home base for all things related to ammunition sales, distribution (includingBulletin Boarding), storage (including lockers for handguns) as well as meetings between local officials and members of theStephenville Gun Club about firearms issues. In addition to serving as a center for operations throughout townspeople could come by any time during day or night to pick up information or purchase ammo supplies or just shoot some rounds around town! It is interesting to note that even though there have been multiple incarnations of the Stephenville Gun Club over many years it has always remained committed to providing support services specifically designed towards keeping our community safe with Firearms!

Stephenville is a small town in Cameron County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Antonio-based city of San Antonio. The Stephenville post office was established in 1881, and opened on December 12th. The town was named for Stephen Fenton, an early settler. A school was built in 1902 by Mrs. Jane Addams and it became the first all-girls school in Texas. On July 8th, 1907 a fire destroyed the old Methodist church which served as the town's only building until 1978 when a new church was built adjacent to the old one. In 1927 Stephenville annexed what is now Hidalgo County and its post office changed its name to Stephenville on January 1st of that year; however it reverted back to its original name on January 1st of every year thereafter until it discontinued mailing letters in 1984 due to budget cuts within City Hall; however residents continued to receive notices from their mailboxes until 1985 when they stopped being received at all (at which time City Hall shut down). According to the 2010 census, 93% of residents speak English as their first language while 5% are also proficient in Spanish (2%. Of those speaking Spanish, 96% identify themselves as Mexican Americans.) There is also 3% who stating Native American descent and 0% who reside primarily German or Irish descent. . According to 2009 Census figures there were 615 households out of which 361 (43%) had children under age 18 living with them., 547 households (60%) were married couples living together, 134 (14%) had a female householder with no husband present, and 73 (7%) had a male householder with no wife present

It is named after Stephen Austin, the first U.S. president and an early political figure in Texas. Stephenville has a humid subtropical climate (Köppen: Cfa), abbreviated as "Csa". The town's history began with John Hance's founding of the community on November 5, 1836. At that time, it consisted of only a few hundred people and was located near what is now Midland Beach State Beach. In 1840, however, Stephenville had grown to some 1,000 residents and had purchased land east of Midland for $2 per acre ($ today). By 1855, the population had increased to 4500 and within ten years it had reached 6500 people. The post office was established in 1851 and soon became one of the larger towns in Webb County. In 1865, Stephenville constructed its first schoolhouse which still stands today as part of the town's cultural heritage.. A year later it also erected a jail which served until 1886 when Webb County replaced jails with county-owned prisons. Today much of downtown Stephenville remains architecturally significant from when it was built up through the years; some examples include the original two-story red brick courthouse (1866) and Main Street School (1876). During World War II many local businesses such as munitions plants turned their production into military materials such as rubber tires and V-12 engines used by bombers during combat; these operations generated great wealth forStephenville citizens who were able to purchase homes around this time period In 1948, Drury Lane Elementary School opened its doors to students from grades pre K through 8th grade after being built on donated land adjacent to Midland High School . As more children were born into families with money available for education they were sent away from their rural homeschooling predecessors; however due to lack of space at Drury Lane there were no playgrounds or other extracurricular activities available for those kids during their formative years . In 1957-58 construction began on present day Interstate 10 bypassing Stephensvilie; however due to funding shortages – caused largely by oil depletion – this project did not occur until 1971
