The company produce holsters for a wide variety of handguns including rifles and pistols. The Brown & Sully holster company is still in business today as a wholly owned subsidiary of Leatherman Inc., making it one of the largest firearms manufacturers in the United States. Brown & Sully Holsters were initially designed to protect horseback riders from getting cuts on their skin while riding. Today, they are used by law enforcement officers throughout the United States as part of their overall gear arsenal. One of the original products from Brown & Sully was the "Bolt Gun Holster." This holster allowed users to carry any type of handgun with an attached belt loop that would provide attachment points for multiple handguns.

Stafford, Texas is a town located in Midland County, Texas, United States. The population was 8,813 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Midland County. Stafford's incorporation as a town occurred on November 3, 1891. The community of Stafford was named for General Ulysses S. Grant and his family who had moved from Kentucky to Live Oak Cove in Orange County, Texas in 1885. Stafford's first post office opened in 1892 and it changed its name to Battle Creek on November 3 that year after the battle between Union forces and Confederate forces near that location which resulted in Grant losing an arm Battle Creek Gazette 9 October 1895 In 1907 the state of Kansas granted a charter to Battle Creek Township Incorporation with 7 unincorporated settlements within its limits: Bellefontaine (later renamed Belle Vernon), Blue Grass Junction ( later renamed Cameron Junction), Carrollton (later renamed Carthage), Cleburne Hill (later renamed Clearwater), Donnellyville ( later renamed Donnellstown) Easton Township (later renamed Eagleville), Ford Heights Township (later renamed Fort Worth) Hubbard Springs Township ( later spelled Humble Prairie) and Lumberdale Village Lakeview On February 14, 1909 Battle Creek Annexation took place when Bellefontaine together with Cameron Junction, Carrollton, Cleburne Hill, Donnellyville, Eagleville and Ford Heights Townships amalgamated into Battle Creek Township Lumberdale Village Lakeview became unincorporated upon this annexation but remains part of the township today because its land borders both Battle Creek Township and Lubbock County . As per the 2000 census there were 7046 people living in Stafford Municipality including 5992 households and 4422 families residing in village area only while remaining unincorporated parts are still under control ofBattleCreekTownship

Stafford, Texas is a town in Hudspeth County, Texas, United States. It was founded by George Stafford in 1849. The population was 1,532 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Hudspeth County. George Stafford immigrated to what is now Hudspeth County in 1849 from England. He and his family founded the town of Stafford on a tract of land that he had purchased from David Gilmore. In 1851, he served as judge of Hudspeth County for one year before leaving to run for office as a Democrat in the General Election of 1850. In 1852, he won election as sheriff and became one of the first white men to serve continuously in that position in Texas. When James Kenedy moved into Hudspeth County from Missouri in 1865, he increased Stafford's population by 10%. After Kenedy's death in 1870, Stafford continued to increase his population until it reached 2,000 by 1880 when he sold his property and left town for good. The townsite that now makes up part of Stafford was given its name by Governor John Connally (1948-1953) during a visit there on Christmas Day 1948 along with other settlements named Vernon Valley (across US 77), Springdale (named after Springdale Ranch where President Harry S Truman vacationed when young), and Dripping Springs (after Ettie Fenton Welch). In 1951, an all-male high school team known as "the Texans" defeated all other schools nationwide - including Houston - to win the National High School Athletic Association's national championship game at Pasadena Stadium Four years later they repeated as champions but this time they lost hearteningly to Louisville 27-14 at home broadcast on NBC television with Johnny Unitas kicking off the game with 5 seconds remaining which allowed no challenge so Notre Dame could take their third national title ever! A special event honoring these fine gentlemen took place two years later at Rice Stadium also televised on NBC! This gave rise to numerous nicknames throughout their career such as "The Gladiators", "The Cotton Belt Cowboys", "Texas Wildcats", etc., but those days are long gone! Today only "Houston Cougars" compete against each other across many sports...and we're just getting started!
The town of Stafford was founded in 1849 by John Stafford and his wife, Sarah. The city was named for John Stafford's father, who died in 1818. The first post office in the town was established in 1850. In 1865, the United States Congress approved a bill to create the Texas State Highway System, and the town became one of its original scenic routes.
