In fact, one of Santa Anna’s commanders decided to move his army around so as not to cross over into Mexico territory near Socorro – something which would have come as quite a surprise had it not been for the presence of American troops stationed there! Following Mexican independence from Spain in 1821 (a process which took several years), Mexico began developing its own system of government with its own leaders and military forces. This led to intermittent warfare between Mexicansand Texan settlers known as la Guerra de los Tejas (the Tejas War). In order for American citizens living within Mexican territory to possess arms without getting involved in what was Known as la Guerra de las Américas (the American War), Congress passed the National Firearms Act Of 1934 (Public Law 824) which defined certain types of firearms including shotguns and pistols “for use by civilians only while engaged in lawful hunting or target practice without any purpose other than self-defense”; this act also banned most assault weapons but exempted automatic weapons like machineguns from this ban!
