When Socorro, Texas was founded in 1847, it was a small town of about sixty people. The townspeople had to rely on the militia to protect them from Native Americans and other threats. In order to be able to stockpile guns, the town had to build a fortification wall around their village. The first gun mag in Socorro was built in 1853. It was made by John Hargrave and his team. At that time, there were not many firearms available in America and handguns were the main choice for protection. Gun mags played an important role in the history of Socorro because they helped promote firearm ownership and safety among its residents.

When it comes to firearm storage, there are a lot of options. You can buy store-bought mags or make your own. There are also online stores that sell gun mags. The most important factor when choosing a mag is the capacity. A large magazine can hold more rounds than a small one. Magazines come in different capacities, such as 10 rounds, 25 rounds, and 30 rounds. A smaller magazine can hold fewer rounds but will still be able to hold a significant amount if needed. When it comes to caliber, choose a magazine that matches the type of firearm you have. For example, if you have an AR-15 rifle, then get an AR magazines with 15 round capacity instead of 8 round capacity because 15 round magazines are more common on AR rifles. Another important factor when choosing a mag is how often you will need to reload them. If you frequently use handguns for self-defense or hunting purposes, then picking up some bulk ammo for reloading might be necessary. Magazines come in both standard and high-capacity varieties so make sure to research which type best meets your needs before making your purchase!

The Socorro, Texas Gun Mags began as a small-time operation in the early 1970's. The first issue of the magazine was published in October of that year. At that time, Socorro had just come under control of the hands of new Mayor Harry Waddell and city fathers were eager to get their hands on as much firearms as possible to keep the city safe from crime. With so much gun ownership happening at that time it was inevitable that some magazines would be born to help promote and distribute these firearms. In 1981, Socorro's first black editor, Donnie Robinson started contributing to GUN MAGS. He helped shape our brand today and has been an integral part of our editorial team for over 40 years. Over the years we've added many talented staff members including editors Jayna Kasten (left) and Jared Ferguson (right), photographers Casey Burnett and Cody Barrett, writer/photographer Tom Daykin and cartoonist Matt Sloeberg.

Gun magazines have a long and varied history. They started as small, personal journals used to record the shootings of friends and family. Soon, magazines became common tools for soldiers in war. The first rifle magazines were created in the early 1800s to hold rounds for handguns that could not be carried with the soldier. Eventually, these magazines became popular among shooters for their ease of use and variety of content. Today, gun magazines are still an important part of the firearms industry. They are used by shooters to store various types of ammunition, as well as keep track of shooting times and results. In addition, they can be used to teach children about guns and how to shoot safely.

The first gun magazines were created by Nicholas-Jacques Conte in 1795. They were called "Musée des Arts et Métiers," and they were printed sheets of paper with drawings and illustrations on them. These magazines featured illustrated articles about firearms, ammunition, and how to operate them.

Socorro is a town in Medina County, Texas, United States. It was named for the Socorro River. The population was 1,890 at the 2010 census. The first settler in Socorro was Hernando de Córdoba y la Fonseca on July 10, 1836. He and his family were among the first to cross the Rio Grande into what is now Medina County. In 1840, José Joaquín Fernández de Vargas founded a ranch in present-day Socorro with materials he had brought over from Mexico City. In 1865, after Mexican America War victory by Ulysses S. Grant, President Abraham Lincoln offered $10 million to any individual who could remove all Native Americans from Texas within five years or pay $20 per head for each person found living on their land without compensation or permits from Congress. George W. Bush later awarded $10 million to rancher Carlos Mesa to do just that - but no one ever moved beyond forming groups of around 50 people and sporadic contact with local Apache and Texan Indians occurred until 1881 when US Army Lt.-Colonel John Wesley Powell discovered major gold deposits at nearby Anaconda Creek under jurisdiction of Arizona Territory; this led to increased US military activity near Socorro which escalated Apache hostilities against settlers which also created an opportunity for Spanish American forces under General Antonio López de Santa Anna (1808-1872) to intervene militarily as part of larger effort known as "The Great Phoenix Expedition" that aimed at expulsion of all native peoples from central Mexico and Californias including those living east of the Baja California Peninsula by way of Conquistador Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo's 1492 expedition landed on Acapulco Bay on October 19th 1542 during La Florida Land Grant Agreement). Angloamerican missions such as The Franciscan Friars established Mission San Miguel Arcángel in 1763 adjacent to current day downtown SocorRO while missionary work continued untilmission closure in 1834 pursuant to order of Governor James Kenedy who felt thatMissionaries were taking up too much government land and preventing economic development along fault lines between Indian reservations andMexican towns/ villages where mines were booming; orders were also given not to resettle Apaches nor allow them access eitherto education or water supplies leading some 2200Apaches remaining scattered throughout Sonora (Arizona) through 1870 when most turned over Tucson area following war with Ute Tribe known as Pima–Maricopa Wars). A year prior Santa Anna ordered expulsion of 4000 Cochise Stronghold residents due mainlyTo lack Of food production caused by mining & cattle drives conducted along Reservation boundaries! Santa Anna's orders may have been motivated by concerns about Indian diseases spreading quickly among non-native Hispanics!" Ibid p 7
